As a farmer training program, having land to cultivate on is crucial. Global Gardens oversees three farms in the city of Boise, and several farmers have additional plots at other farms in the Treasure Valley.

All of our farming and gardening is done on donated land in and around Boise and uses organic practices.

Five Mile Farm

Liberty Street Community Garden

Pond Street is home to several CSA and wholesale plots, Treasured Mushrooms operations, and the Global Gardens Food Hub.

Located behind the Five Mile Church of the Nazarene Church, this farm has plots for many market farmers. Several beginning farmers start with small plots at this farm, as well.

Liberty Street offers more than 100 community garden plots, primarily to gardeners from immigrant and refugee backgrounds. Some market farmers also grow produce for their CSAs here.

We are thankful for the City of Boise and the Five Mile Church of the Nazarene, who continue to support Global Gardens farmers by providing access to land in Boise.

Please contact Program Manager Rabiou Manzo to discuss donating or leasing land to Global Gardens farmers.
